Improve peri and post operative results

In the Operating room

“Contrary to popular belief, the ANI (Analgesia Nociception Index) system is not solely a nociception / pain monitor but holds broader significance for anesthesiologists and surgeons. It provides real-time feedback on the adequacy of sympathetic and inflammatory stress blockade during surgery.”

A recent 2023 Korean Meta-analysis on 30 ANI studies hascome to 4 confirmations:

1

Accuracy of pain / nociception in ANI monitoring during general anesthesia

2

ANI monitoring can reduce intra-operative opioid consumption

3

Applicability of ANI monitoring for predicting post operative pain

4

Correlation between hemodynamic changes and ANI monitoring

Mdoloris Technology measures the autonomous nervous system in the O.R.

It monitors the patient’s (patho)physiologic reactions to surgical stress.

INTERPRETATION OF ANI

Nb : The energy must be between 0,05 and 2,5 for an interpretable ANI

Time between heart beat to heart beat changes due to ventilation. This phenomenon is known as heart rate variability and is controlled by the ANS.

MDoloris Technology is based on heart rate variability analysis; The NIPE from 26 weeks gestational age to 2 years, and the ANI from 2 years and above, to measure the activity of the ANS.

Mdoloris Technology monitor patient metabolic respons to surgical stress  and can help modulating/preventing cytokines storm and its consequences.
